Hi Randy,
The RCA reissue “Christmas with Chet Atkins” ANL1-1935 was released in 1975.
Two tunes have been re-recorded by Chet : “Silent Night” and “The First Noël”.
On the original ’61 LP Chet plays these tunes on a classical nylon string.
On the ’75 reissue, Chet re-recorded them with his Del Vecchio.
The 1997 CD reissue BMG/RAZOR RE 2155-2 is the ’75 version.
The recent CD reissue (november,2011 Mocking Bird records) is the ’61 version.
Regards, Jean-Luc
