Chet in the 1950s

Chet definitely found his wings in the 1950s. Although he embarked on this decade recording a modest 4 songs in 1950, he left it recording 48 songs in 1959 – recording a total of 294 throughout the decade.

As this  decade saw the move from 78s, to 45s (and 45EPs), and to LPs, many tunes Chet recorded were issued in multiple formats.  Somewhat confusing is that 45EPs were often re-issued as LPs with the same ID Number.
